Installation Court Lunch

Includes sponsor’s name and logo on menu, place cards and marketing material, four lunch places, a vote of thanks by the Master/Prime Warden’s speech, and an opportunity to respond in front of some of the world’s best architects.
The Installation Court Lunch takes place in September and provides the setting for the Master/Prime Warden to launch their years agenda. The lunch takes place in one of the Livery Halls, most of which are rarely open to the general public. The £3000 sponsorship cost is used to subsidise the cost of attendance for younger members, apprentices and students; the mentorship of whom is one of the WCCA’s aims.
The sponsorship opportunities include four lunch places and a vote of thanks by the Master/Prime Warden’s speech, and an opportunity to respond in front of some of the world’s best architects.
Annual Banquet

Includes sponsor’s name and logo on menu, place cards and marketing material, four dinner places, a vote of thanks by the Master/Prime Warden’s speech, and an opportunity to respond in front of some of the world’s best architects.
The Annual Banquet is a black-tie event and is held every January and is an opportunity to look forward to the forthcoming year.
At this event The Stewart Murphy Travel Awards are presented. The sponsorship of the Annual Banquet is £3800, which includes four tickets to the event.
The event is held in one of the Livery Halls not normally open to the public and provides an opportunity to speak to some of the world’s best architects. The sponsorship helps subsidise the cost of the Annual Banquet for students and apprentices. Last year the WCCA was praised by Alderman & Sheriff Alison Gowman for the attendance of so many young people and this is something we would like to encourage and hope you will help us provide that opportunity.
The City Building of the Year

Includes sponsor’s name and logo on menu, place cards and marketing material, four dinner places, a vote of thanks by the Master/Prime Warden’s speech, and an opportunity to respond in front of some of the world’s best architects.
One of the highlights of the WCCA year is the City Building of the Year Award. A shortlist is drawn up by the Corporation of London and the WCCA jury visits each building and chooses the winner – looking particularly at sustainability, urban context, client satisfaction, public appeal, and contribution to the city. The award is presented at the July Election Court Dinner.
Sponsorship of this award is £8000 which includes four tickets to the awards dinner, prominent credit on the menu, and an invitation to present the award alongside the Chairman of the Judges. The winner is presented with a certificate by the sponsor, and a plaque to be fixed to the winning building. A reduction would be made for three years continuous sponsorship. The sponsor would be invited to participate in the unveiling of the plaque by the Lord Mayor, usually in October.
The Annual Lecture

Includes sponsor’s name on marketing material and a vote of thanks at the event.
Each year the Master/Prime Warden invites a leading thinker relating to their year in office. In 2023 the Annual Lecture was given in June by Professor Jan Gehl, the leading urbanist, and in June 2024 it will be Professor Stuart Russell, who presented the amazing BBC Reith Lectures in 2021 on the role of Artificial Intelligence.
To sponsor these events would cost £1400 annually, which would subsidise the cost of tickets for students and apprentices and contribute towards refreshments. The sponsor would be featured prominently in all advertising and marketing material and would be thanked on the evening by the Master/Prime Warden. The event would take place in one of the Livery Halls, which are not normally open to the public, and will be available to view online.
Spring Luncheon

Includes sponsor’s name and logo on menu, place cards and marketing material, four lunch places, a vote of thanks by the Master/Prime Warden’s speech, and an opportunity to respond in front of some of the world’s best architects.
In April the WCCA holds a lunch after the Accounts Court where major financial decisions are taken. At the lunch the awards (details of these to be confirmed) are presented and Honorary Fellows are also welcomed to the company.
The sponsorship of the lunch would cost £3000 per annum and includes four places to attend in one of the Livery Halls not normally open to the public. The sponsorship allows the WCCA to invite students and apprentices to the lunch at nominal cost and the sponsor’s name features prominently on the menu and marketing material, and the sponsor would be thanked by the Master/Prime Warden at the event.
Lifelong Learning at Temple Bar London

Includes sponsor’s name and logo on all marketing material and an opportunity to be associated with lifelong learning in architecture.
Throughout the year the WCCA and Temple Bar Trust conducts a number of fascinating and architecturally relevant talks.
In 2024 the theme of the year will be Education, Education, Education, looking at how we can improve and mentor lifelong learning in the profession and industry.
The cost of sponsoring these events would be £2000 which would enable for them to be recorded and available online for more people to view.
Practice Visits

This enables practice visits to be recorded and available online for architects and colleagues to view, and a chance to be associated with architects’s lifelong learning.
Throughout the year the WCCA conducts a number of practice visits so that architects and students can see how other members of the profession work.
We aim to have one practice visit per month. In 2024 the theme of the year will be Education, Education, Education, looking at how we can improve and monitor lifelong learning and learn from each other in the profession and the industry.
The cost of sponsoring the practice visits would be £2000, enabling the practice visits to be recorded and available online for architects and colleagues to view.
The RIBA President’s Dinner

Includes sponsor’s name and logo on menu, placecards and marketing material, four dinner places, a vote of thanks by the Master/Prime Warden’s speech, and an opportunity to respond in front of some of the world’s best architects.
In 2023 onwards it is intended to reinstate the annual President’s Dinner at the RIBA which was curtailed by the pandemic.
The dinner is held following the July RIBA Council Meeting as an opportunity for current RIBA council members to meet with former council members and other interested architects and will be held in The Florence Hall at 66 Portland Place.
The sponsorship of this event is £3800 to include four places and a speaking opportunity to present in front of some of the world’s best architects. The sponsor’s contribution would subsidise the cost for students, apprentices, and winners of the various student prizes throughout the year.
Annual WCCA Literary Festival

This enables practice visits to be recorded and available online for architects and colleagues to view, and a chance to be associated with architects’s lifelong learning.
The first of our Annual Literary Festivals will be held in June 2023. The Literary Festival will coincide with The London Festival of Architecture. It will take place in Temple Bar where publishers and booksellers on all aspects related to architecture and the built environment will host sales and events.
The event will centre around Temple Bar which will host book readings and discussions. There will also be an awards evening for categories of published work in conjunction with the the World Architecture Festival.
Ideally we are looking to raise £50,000 sponsorship to cover the costs of this event. This will be a high profile event attracting architects and others involved in the built environment but also open to the general public. It will promote the WCCA and The City and the wider industry. It will be an opportunity for sponsors to raise the profile of their work and their commitment to excellence. We would like to attract five sponsors from different sectors of the industry for £10,000 each.
